How does KYBELLA work?
Kybella’s active ingredient, deoxycholic acid, dissolves fat cells in the upper neck. Once eliminated, these cells cannot return once eliminated, so further injections are generally unnecessary after completing your treatment plan at The Skin Shop in Scottsdale, AZ.
Can KYBELLA be used to treat other areas of the body?
Currently, This treatment may only be used to treat the upper neck. It has been proven to reduce the appearance of a double chin effectively. Kybella Scottsdale hasn’t been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for use on any other areas of the body.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
In your initial consultation at The Skin Shop, a personalized treatment plan will be tailored to match your desired results. Most often, patients get between two and four Kybella injections to achieve their goals. Kybella Scottsdale injections need to be made about 30 days apart. You shouldn’t get more than six treatments.
