How Does Sclerotherapy Work?
Sclerotherapy may be completed in one of our treatment rooms in a short time and without any anesthesia. The blood vessels being corrected will be identified, and then the skin will be cleaned. A fine needle will be inserted into the vein so the sclerosing solution can be applied. After removing the needle, gauze will cover the injection site to treat any bleeding. This procedure will be repeated to treat all spider veins.
